Deslagging agent or known as dregs remover is used to gather insoluble substanceand make it easy to remove, purify the molten steel. lt also can be used as superiorcovering agent, with thick insulating layer and good performance of blocking theslags. And it can insulate the molten steel from air to prevent second-time oxidation.Deslagging agent do not burst, spread fast and even, with strong ability of gathering.It will improve the casting part's inner-quality, increase the yield, lower productioncost; Easy to use, low labour intensity, high efficiency. Deslagging agent is made fromhigh quality perlite and volcanic ash, regular size are 18-30 mesh, 30-50 mesh, 50-80mesh, etc.

• Slag is a by - product formed during various industrial processes such as metal smelting (e.g., in blast furnaces during iron production) and coal - fired power generation. It is a molten mixture of impurities like oxides of silicon, aluminum, calcium, and other elements.

 

• A deslagging agent works by interacting with the slag to change its physical and chemical properties. It can lower the melting point of the slag, making it more fluid, which facilitates its removal from the process equipment. This helps in preventing the build - up of slag on the walls of furnaces, boilers, and other vessels, which can otherwise reduce the efficiency of the equipment, increase energy consumption, and potentially lead to equipment failure.
